Ron is the owner of FNO Contractors Ltd. His construction career centered around concrete.
He was three term Chief of Kwikwetlem First Nation (KFN) of Coquiltlam, B.C. and acted as the Chief Executive Officer for KFN Enterprises. During his tenure, KFN moved from subsistence to remarkable community and business growth.

As a young man, Julian started his civil construction career on the Alaska Highway. Later, he worked for eight years as a sub contractor for Tsawwassen First Nation. In 2010, he moved to the Kwikwetlem First Nation (KFN); beginning as a sub-contractor and later directly as construction manager. In his ten years with KFN, it went from 15% employment to 90%.

In 2015, Kwikwetlem First Nation Enterprises joint ventured with Paul's family owned construction company to form Saskay Construction Ltd. Over the next few years, Saskay grew significantly and successfully installed thousands of jobs for Kiewit/Ledcor, Canadian Utilities, Transmountain Pipeline L.P., Matcon Civil, and Matcon Construction.
